Travel day and first devotion

We arrived safely in Choluteca after a long day of flights through Atlanta into Tegucigalpa, then the long winding drive down the mountain into Choluteca.  There is a noticeable increase in industrial activity along the highway with new construction sites, warehouses, excavation, and warehouse/distribution facilities.  The water level in the Choluteca river is low as always this time of year but the bridge was still a welcome site letting us know we arrived.  Actually seeing Mike, Ginger, Jose, and Orphilio were the true sings that we had arrived.

You will all be happy to know that Bob's guitar arrived safely and that the biggest scare we had was Suzanne's luggage being lost for about 15 minutes.  She was as calm as could be, so along with Jim, our two rookie's are now veterans after day one.  Jose's esposa prepared a wonderful dinner for which we are very grateful.  Next up, Rosa.

Steve lead the devotion tonight, along with insightful comments and prayers by Joel, Budd, and BobO.  Those that have been here before know that our evening devotions are one of the highlights of the trip so you can only imagine how blessed we are to start off the week this way.

Dios te bendega.
